BETH POTTE’S HOME NEWS LETTER 2019.
On behalf of the board members of this Charity, we want to take this opportunity to wish all of you MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR OF 2020. We want to thank God for all of you who believed in us and joined us together in this noble task of God’s calling to help these orphans in one way or another. We are happy to inform you that your work in this ministry is not in pain.
EVENTS: Here are some of alights of things which took place the year 2019.
1. Christopher, who was born with HIV Aids disease and rejected by his relatives including his own uncle. We are happy to inform you that he completed grade 12 this year by the grace of God, after a long struggle with his sickness.
2. Philomena, having completed grade 12 last year 2018, has now completed one year in a career college, where a performance is very encouraging.
3. Mercy, now in grade 11 is anticipating to complete grade 12 next year 2020 God willing.
4. Andrew and Januaries, both have joined high school this year 2019.
The rest of the other children are in different Elementary/Primary Schools, working hard for their performances.
All these children are given two meals in their respective schools, while on the other hand we do provide food for them on weekends and during the holidays throughout the year. We also take care of their health issues by providing them with medication, those who have become sick.
We are happy to report to you that one of the orphans by the name Januaries who had a kidney problem, which conditioned him to use catheter even in school, which was not easy because of the stigma. We thank God Januaries is now completely healed.
Since we wanted these children to feel loved during Christmas season, we did send them hamper, to be delivered to their respective home where these orphans lives with their relatives.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Since everything has gone up financially, what we used to pay last year, is now twice as much this year. Our construction of this home in order for us to have these orphans under one roof, their new home, where their needs will be fully met physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually satisfactorily, is still yet to be build, we hope and pray for God’s will to be done and this anticipated dream be a reality. Therefore pray with us for God to provide a donor or donors to help us to build this urgently needed home for these orphans. It is with great joy to inform you that our charity is officially registered both here in Canada and in Kenya where the orphans lives, as non-profit charitable organization. Therefore, those who would like to donate any amount of money to this charity, $20 and above will be issued with a receipt for the purpose of income tax return process. Prepared by:
Rev. Dr. Joseph K. Kibwaa (Co-founder).
